After many positioning cycles and in the event of a slider crash, the left and right platforms can develop free play that ruins the positon accuracy. The Slider platforms can also skew and travel at slight angles or different pitches. All of these defects cause poor cross mask position accuracy that greatly affect target quality, with resultant zmode drops and misalignment.

KS Equipment can rebuild your slider, installing new bearings, lead screws and drive nuts as required. The rebuilt slider is tested on a stepper to assure perfect operatiion.
